New Year Resolutions

  • Sakya Buddhist Center, Los Angeles 220 Pier Avenue Santa Monica, CA, 90405 United States (map)

Join us at Dechen LA for a refreshing and inspiring morning talk on how to approach New Year resolutions through a Buddhist lens. Rather than relying on fleeting willpower, we will explore how authentic change arises from intention, awareness, and steady practice.

Paul will guide a practical and uplifting session on how to:

  • Bring meditation into daily life

  • Let go of unhelpful habits and gently replace them with positive habits

  • Create space amid a busy schedule

  • Live a more meaningful and compassionate life

This talk marks the start of a monthly series supporting personal and spiritual growth. Each month, we will also introduce a practical spiritual challenge to help us stay accountable and deepen our practice throughout the year.

All are warmly welcome—let’s begin the year with purpose, openness, and a supportive community.
