Evening Teaching: Initiation of Yellow Dzambhala

  • Sakya Buddhist Center, Los Angeles 220 Pier Avenue Santa Monica, CA, 90405 United States (map)

We are pleased to announce that Lama Jampa Thaye will bestow the initiation of Yellow Dzambhala, one of the most important Vajrayana practices for overcoming poverty, generating abundance, and creating favorable conditions for Dharma practice.

Yellow Dzambhala is a powerful wealth deity in the Buddhist tantric tradition, associated not only with material prosperity, but more importantly with the removal of outer and inner obstacles that prevent us from fully engaging in the spiritual path. His blessings help lay the foundation for a stable life—enabling generosity, reducing fear, and supporting the conditions necessary for study, meditation, and compassionate activity.

While no further instruction will be given during this event, the initiation itself connects practitioners to the lineage and blessings of this revered deity, making it an invaluable gateway for future practice.

Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Registration is encouraged to help us prepare the space.
